What Causes Dizzy Spells When Diagnosed With Myalgia And Peripheral Neuropathy?

I am 63 male. I have been diagnosed with fibro myalgia and periphial neuropathy. I am 5 11 185 lbs. I try to be as active as I can. I don t smoke or drink. The last few months I have been going through spells of being light headed on and off. I don t ever feel dizzy to where I am going to fall down. I doesn t happen if I exhurt myself. It s not constant and comes and goes. My dad had blockage in his neck arteries, had to have it cleared by surgery. and high chlorestoral. My chlorestoral is around 210 or so. I was wondering what may be the cause of the light headedness. I am not on any medications. I don t get blurred vision. Thank you

Hello,

This can be due to a TIA (Transient Ischemic Attack). So better to consult a neurologist and get done clinical examination and MRI of the brain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
