Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
having slight dizzy spells, only last a couple of seconds. Have epilepsy and not sure if its related. Only happens when I move my head or sit down or bend over. Not happen all the time, but at least six times a day. As I said it only lasts a second or two and then gone.
Hello and welcome to HCM, Feeling dizzy while moving you is suggestive of some disorder of inner ear. Inner ear is associated with maintenance of balance. Any disorder of inner ear- infection, inflammation or any other lesion can cause disorders of balance and thus feeling dizzy especially while changing position of head. I suggest you to consult an ENT specialist for clinical assessment of inner, relevant investigations and thus management.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
