What Causes Double Vision After Strabismus Surgery?

I had a concussion March 2013 and experienced double vision which improved slightly over 12 months after the accident. I had strabismus surgery one week ago and the double vision is worse. Is this normal and how long does it normally last. I am a 50 yr old female.

At this age strabis mus surgeryiscosmetic. Forceful alignment will cause double vision. Your brain will accept superior vision and other eye vision and double vision will go.Soon it will happen.
