What Causes Double Vision Along With Dizziness?

Sudden but temporary double vision and dizzyness; no other physical impairments; am able to retain clear thoughts during the less than ten minute phase. Have check TIA and stroke symptoms and have none of those, am in good health, not overweight and no illnesses and no medication other than 5 mg lisinopril daily (for past year), walk a mile daily and continue to work a a magazine editor. I do deal with a good deal of stress because of work deadlines.

please make it a note to mention your age and gender with your question.
because the diagnosis of a disease can sometimes change only on basis of age/gender.

secondly, your symptoms do appear like that of stroke/TIA. i would like to get following investigations done-
1. CBC with ESR
2. ECHO
3. ECG
4. Chest Xray
5. BP monitoring twice daily(as you mentioned you are on lisinopril, so m guessing its most probably for hypertension. and hypertension is the most common cause of a TIA.)

please visit a nearby ER asap as this could be something really severe.
