General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Hypoglycemia causes dryness of mucous membranes &involuntary eye movements to change normal relation of visions of two eyes. This causes itching of throat & double vision.

The symptoms resolve after replacement of glucose in optimum quantity.(drink sugar or glucose water).

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
