What Causes Double Vision While On Effexor XR?

Hello. I started taking Effexor XR (37.5 mg) once a day for depression/anxiety 12 days ago. Yesterday, I started having slight double vision. Today it is more pronounced double vision. Is this an effect of the drug? I read side effects include vision changes but it is not more specific. My Doctor indicated it takes 2-3 weeks for Effexor to kick in, so maybe the side effect is just appearing now too. Skould I stop the drug immediately? Note, I am on other medication which has not changed in 3 weeks so am isolating the Effexor here.
