What Causes Double Vision?

Hi My 55 mname is Amy Im my question is i have spells i cll them where i sit down in my recliner for a sec and my head drops and i go to sleep and i also experience double vision and i do this everytime i sit down my husbAND AND SON THINK I AM TAKING SOMETHING AND I m not pleae help

Hello welcome to the health care magic

Double vision is called diplopia.

I want to know whether it is unilateral or bilateral.

Causes can be as follow.....
_diabetes
_retinal problem
_thyroid problem like grave disease
_TIA etc..

For that work up can be done in form of serum TSH, RBS estimation, indirect ophthamoscopy, blood pressure measurement etc...

According to cause specific treatment given
