Infectious Diseases Specialist, Dr. Arun's Response
Hello, Thnx to contact us. If I am your treating doctor I would like to advice you that there is possibility of infection in your wound. If your appointment is within 3-4 days you can wait for the doctors appointment. In other situation you can take a culture and sensitivity report of the organism and start treatment accordingly. Also do regular cleaning and dressing with betadine and antibiotic ointment. If you have anything else to ask please contact me. Thanx. Dr. Arun Tank; Infectious Disease Specialist
