Pain after urination with blood in it and worsening abdominal cramps and pressure implies three things.
1.
Urinary tract infection
2.
Premature labor contractions
3. Braxton Hicks contraction.
if contractions are regular, painful, increase in intensity 4-5 per hour then these are premature labor contractions these will be associated with watery discharge or change in
vaginal discharge, Constant lower
abdominal pain pelvic pressure and abdominal cramps.
However if these were irregular lasting 10-30 seconds for up to one minute, irregular not increase in intensity then these are
braxton hicks contractions. these are due to dehydration, active mother or fetus.
All that you have to do is to do Urine R/E, Take plenty of fluids, take cup of warm tea, change posture during contraction. If contractions were labor like then contact Obstetrician.
