What Causes Drainage Of Vaginal Clot During Second Trimester Of Pregnancy?

Hi Doctor, I am 21 weeks pregnant and woke up this morning with a small clot the size of a 5 cent piece. There was nothing until about 2 hours later and there was some brownish coloured blood but not a lot. I can feel the baby kicking? Thankyou so much. Rhonda

I would suggest you to see your ob/gynae doctor asap.She will advise you to take duphastan (dydrogesterone ) and may also inject you with the hormones to stop the bleeding.She will also get an abdominal scan to see if everything is okay.Though you can feel the baby movement but still it is very important to manage the bleeding
