Hello,

Drooling can be caused by excess production of saliva, inability to retain saliva within the mouth (incontinence of saliva,) or problems with swallowing (dysphagia or odynophagia).

Usually, an open mouth posture may lead to the above symptoms. Along with few conditions like obstructive sleep apnea, or dental or tonsillitis or Parkinson patients or stroke etcetera. Please consult your sleep therapist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
