What Causes Dropped Energy Levels Post Costochondritis?
Hello I ha be just recently been diagnosed with Costochondritis. I have had it for around 3 months and after several tests that showed no results this is what s GP concluded- she is excellent by the way I m concerned about my energy levels? Pain is managed fairly by pain killers / anti inflammatries. I feel like absolute crap and would like to know if it will ever resolve?
Dropped energy levels with costochondritis could be due to reduced breathing effort because of fear of pain. Your current treatment is on expected line , I think you will recover soon. However if you are hailing from a tropical country I would advise you to under go investigations to rule out Tuberculosis. As tuberculosis can cause costochondritis which will not respond to this treatment and it lasts longer (which is there in your case, our remember tropical areas).
I wish you faster recovery.
