What Causes Dropping Of Heartbeats Below 40 And Racing Heart?
I recently wore a halter monitor for my heart and found out that I have an extra beat and also that my heart is dropping below 40 beats. I experience frequent bouts of my arms falling a sleep at night and it is very severe. I did experience a racing heart last night as well. I do have a thyroid condidtion. Any thoughts.
hello,I have gone through your query. Thanks for using HCM. First of all I would like to know type of your thyroid disorder, whether you have hyper or hypothyroidism ?Because hyperthyroidism is known to produce rhythm disturbances and low heart rate may be due to beta blocker you might be taking.I also need to know exact report of your Holter to guide you properly.I would be glad to guide you further once i get your feedback. My best wishes Dr.Rajesh Teli,MD.
