What Causes Drowsiness In A Child Born With Imperforated Anus?

my 13 month son is sleeping 16-17 hours a day lately, he was born with a high imperforated anus. and has had 3 surgerys. his last one was when he was 10 months old and it was a reconnecting surgery. he has also had c-diff 3 times now. I was just thinking maybe this could be why he was sleeping a lot?

Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns. Excessive sleep is not related imperforated anus that to done few months back. Minimus 12 hrs sleep is required for a baby. If you think your child is drowsy in between also. You should meet Pediatrician to evaluate your child.
