What Causes Drowsiness With Dry Mouth And Constipation?

hi doc,my mother(72)is taking syndopa plus 125mgthrice, parkitidin100mgtwice, pramipextwice in a day.she is feeling drowsy with drymouth and constipation.are the medicines ok for her?plz help Reshmi

I am so sorry to hear about this side effects that you have reported. These are typical of the drug pramipexole that she is taking. I believe the benefits for her disease condition merit that she continues with this drug. I will like that you also advise her to sip water often to relief mouth dryness, eats fruits and vegetables to alleviate constipation. I hope these would get better with time but these are some of the undesired consequences trying to treat disease conditions,
