What Causes Dry And Bleeding Skin Above Clitoris Hood?
Hi, I was wondering what I might have going on? I ve had dry skin that appears above my clitoral hood that cracks and bleeds if I spread it open.. I do have a little discharge, no smell or discolor. I just recently was on antibiotics & was prescribed medication for yeast infections. Took those.. Yeast infections gone but then this happens from time to time. Then I get cracks on the side of my mouth, that are very painful... What s going on?
Excessive vaginal dryness cause dryness, cracks, wrinkling of vaginal region. Frequent rubbing and washing of the vagina can also strip away the moisture and cause dryness.Vaginal dryness can also occur due hormonal imbalance and aging. These causes should be considered for further management.
Mild vaginal moisturisers can be used.Adequate hydration and maintenance of vaginal hygiene is also beneficial.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
