What Causes Dry Burning Skin Along With Swelling In Knees And Ankles?
I have had petechaie for 3 years now and they still have not found the cause. I had lots of blood work and everything has come back normal. I have been off 81 mg aspirin for 2 years and still break off. also to a skin specialist who said it was not a skin problem , he said is was valuclis, without blood work to prove that. My skin is so dry and sometimes feels burny. I sometimes have a little swelling in knees and ankles but it does not last long. Should I see a blood specialist. I am 57.

Hi, Yes of course. You need to see a blood specialist to exclude any organic lesion you may be suffering from. Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Salah Saad Shoman, Internal Medicine Specialist
