What Causes Dry Cough Along With Greenish Pus From Eye?

I am having symptoms of a cold or allergy with dry cough but in the morning I can blow a lot of mucus out of my nose. Also my right eye has greenish puss coming from it and my eye is very red and uncomfortable. I thought I was getting a cold at first but now wondering if it could be allergy
