What Causes Dry Cough And Congestion Along With Left Side Rib Pain?
I ve had a dry cough for 2 weeks and occasional congestion. Coughing fits usually subside when I m outside the house, so I m wondering if it s to do with dust mites? ( We ve been packing up the house for a move for several weeks.) Also, my back, left side under rib, now hurts when I cough. Thanks for any thoughts/suggestions

according to your history it seems like dust allergy because you do not have such attacks when you are away.
you should take anti allergic like citrizine for 7 days at night,cough syrup like Dextromethorphine/ Diphenhydramine. and in case of pain you can take Acetaminophen 1 tab in the morning and evening.
