What Causes Dry Cough, Fatigue, Sore Throat And Loss Of Balance?
For two days, I have had a dry cough, fatigue, sore throat and a loss of balance. I m not sure if it is just allergy season or not, but I still have these symptoms at work in a closed environment as well as at home with the windows open. I have been waking myself up coughing several times a night. I have taken DayQuil, but that doesn t help very much
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of dry cough, fatigue, sore throat and loss of balance which seems to be due to immunocompromised state of body and allergic infection and it could be upper respiratory tract infection. Need not to worry.
Avoid cold carbonated beverages. Avoid oily and sharp food. Drink plenty of fluids. Avoid laying immediately after having food. I would suggest you to maintain proper oral hygiene and do warm saline gargles. You should take antibiotic Amoxicillin for 5 days. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should get routine blood tests and throat swab test done and start treatment after proper diagnosis.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
