What Causes Dry Nose And Sore Throat?

3wks ago started sinus symptoms and sore throat went to Dr and she started me on 500 mg amoxicillin 3 times a day along with flonas. After 6 days symptoms weren't getting better in fact I felt. Nose and mouth extremely dry and throat still sore. My ears started to hurt also acid was very bad. Called Dr again and she put me on cephalexin 500 mg every 12 hrs.stop the flonas. 3 days later I had to go to urgent care and this Dr put me on clarithromyc 500 mg twice a day, but after reading the side effects I'm afraid to take it. Should I be?

Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

As per your complain it seems that the dryness in mouth and nose are due to flonase spray that is steroid Fluticasone..
Acid reflux and hyperacidity is a common side effect of antibiotic intake..
But if you have sinus symptoms you need to take antibiotics for resolution but along with it you can take Pantoprazole empty stomach in morning till you are on antibiotics..
You say do steam inhalation, do saline nasal irrigation,use a humidifier in your room..
You should also chew sugar free chewing gum and suck tart candies..
Drink plentyy of water and do warm compresses around nostrils..
