Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 70-year-old healthy male with normal sexual drive and activity. A month ago I stopped producing any semen when I climax. I still experience the normal feeling as if I ejaculated and I still experience sexual satisfaction but my wife and I are concerned that something is wrong. I do have an enlarged prostate for which I have been prescribed Tamsulosin (for past 3 years) and Finasteride (the past 6 months).

What Causes Dry Orgasms?
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic It is possible that you may have retrograde ejaculation. This means that semen enters the bladder instead of leaving through the urethra. The complications are mainly infertility, it would not cause any other complications. Some causes include enlarged prostate, side effect of medication, nerve injury ,surgery to the prostate. If you wish to be assessed, then you can see an urologist I hope this helps
