I have dry white spots on my arms and legs that look like scars. I get more and more all the time and they never go away. I used to use tanning beds a. Outlet of times before heading south for the winter. What is the cause of these white spots and what can I do to cure this condition?
Thank for posting on HCM! you must distinguish you got versicolor or vitiligo. Versicolor caused by a fungus. its characteristic squamous injury on smooth, itchy especially when sweating. And vitiligo is depigmentation of skin disease, hair, hair loss due to deficient or melanin. No scales on vitiligo injury. no itching. Treatment of versicolor The purpose of treatment is to kill the fungus versicolor with topical medications or pills. ASA solution, Antimycose, BSI, benzosali ointments, drugs ketoconazole, itraconazole ... in 3-4 weeks. Treatment of vitiligo include: - Use a topical medication. - Screening of PUVA light. - Use sunscreen when going out. - Use "drugs disguised" to hide skin discoloration. Wishing you good health!
