I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain you are suffering from STOMTITIS that is inflammation of mucousal surfaces of mouth and the cause of it is DRY MOUTH.. Excessive dry mouth leads to atrophy or thinning of mucous membranes leading to inflammation and there can be burning and pain..
Antibiotics will not help until the cause of dry mouth is diagnosed and treated.. You should consult an ORAL PHYSICIAN and get evaluated so that he can rule out the exact cause of dry mouth and treat you accordingly. As of now you can take SALIVA SUPPLIMENTS containing methyl cellulose that can be instilled multiple times in mouth during the day for lubrication.. Saliva Stimulants like Sugar free chewing gums can be chewed many times a day as it help in stimulating saliva flow.. Suck on ice pops and do cold water rinses as it help in reducing inflammation.. Avoid hot and spicy food..
Antibiotics should not be taken without consultation with a doctor as in patients with dry mouth antibiotics can lead to fungal infection in tongue known as THRUSH..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora..
