Hi,
Your history is suggestive of wither of the following problems:
-
Xerostomia is a condition in which there is less activity of minor salivary glands in particular.
- Sjogren's syndrome.
-
Globus hystericus in which one feels like there is something stuck in throat which may not actually be a condition.
- Presence of a real lump or swelling in lower throat.
I would advise you the following as you do not have any Doctor nearby as per your history:
- Take sips of honey and let it linger in mouth and throat.
- Try lemon drops, sugar if you do not have
diabetes.
- Take an anti-inflammatory whichever suits you.
- if these measures do not help then surely you have consult a Doctor, preferably an ENT Surgeon and undergo
endoscopy, investigations to get a proper diagnosis and thus have proper management.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
