What Causes Dull Ache And Pain In The Breast/chest Area?

31 year old female. Dull, achy pain in left breast/chest area. Have asked my pcp and had both an ekg and stress test done. Both came back perfect. Still having dull pain. Mostly when I'm sitting, relaxed. Husband thinks it's heartburn....I can't be sure.

Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Yes possibility of either musculoskeletal pain or heart burn (acute gastritis) is more likely in your case.
So better to avoid movements causing pain. Avoid heavyweight lifting and strenuous exercise. Avoid bad postures in sleep.
Avoid hot and spicy food. Avoid large meals, instead take frequent small meals. Start proton pump inhibitors and prokinetic drugs.
Take painkiller and muscle relaxant drugs.
Don't worry, you will definitely improve with all these.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
