What Causes Dull Pain In Lower Back Of A Person With Crohn S Disease?

hi,yes.my son has a dull pain on his lower right back.He has no fever and is 24 yrs old.He does have crohns disease.He has been in had no symptoms since he has been on remecade for the past 6 years.Should I be concerned or just w treat it with motrin and wait a day or two?

If the pain is mild at the moment you can consider waiting 24 to 48 hours and using the motrin.

It is possible that it may be muscle related.
Other structures in the area are the kidneys but if they were involved there would be urinary symptoms.

If it is severe, then he may need to see someone as soon as possible.
