Noted your history about undergoing
knee replacement followed by deep situated pain in the whole limb which is different from the pains you are already suffering due to
hypothyroidism, lupus and
diabetes.
The most probable causes can be as follows:
Knee replacement surgery is a complex surgery and the dissection, edema therein can spread above and below the operated knee giving you atypical pains as you have mentioned.
Hence I would advise you the following:
Consult your operating Surgeon for clinical examination and investigations like
CT scan so that an appropriate cause may be found.
The further management totally depends upon the findings.
You are also free to take a
second opinion of another Surgeon so that nothing is missed as it is imperative to have a proper diagnosis for proper management.
