General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

What dull aching pain you are describing to be having in vagina. Following miscarriage it appears to have been caused due to overstretching of muscles and soft tissue injury inside the pelvis. It would take about 4 to 6 weeks to heal and be back to normal. You need to take symptomatic treatment in the form of intake of analgesic medications. Also, doing pelvic muscle relaxation exercises would help to heal more quickly. Abstain from sexual activities till the symptoms subside completely. Maintain good personal hygiene.

Hope the information provided would be helpful. Let me know if I can assist you further. All the best.

Regards,
