Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Chronic dull pain in head without much obvious other symptoms usually from tension headache. The causes can be constant computer work, stress due to study etc. But here pain is unilateral throbbing sometime so it can be migraine as well.
For that Ibuprofen or if needed Rizatriptan prescribed for acute attack.
If pain constant than prophylactic Amitriptyline also can be prescribed. Avoid taking stress and yoga will be beneficial.
Take care
Hope this will help you
