What Causes Dyspepsia To Recur In Spite Of Being On Medication For Diabetes?

I used to take glibenclamid 2.5mg twice daily to control the diabetes which runs in my family. But the doctor switched me to Metformin 500 first twice then three times a day which did not control the diabetes (hovering around 180) but started a dreadful and constant dyspepsia. Now he has switched me to Diamicron 60XL once in the morning and the dyspepsia stopped. But he added Pioz75 after breakfast and the dyspepsia recurs but now as bad as before. What is happening? Please advise. Thanks and regards.

Hi,
Dispepsia is often associated with above medications. And if it hurts you bad, attend your primary physician to get switched over or increase the dose, but if you can bear, its better. Its all about which side affect is tolerated by you, and the drugs that control your disease.
Feel free to contact, if you have other queries.

Regards
