What Causes Ear Ache And Jaw Ache After Taking Prednisone?

irecently jad an ear infection and loss of heaeing in the right ear. nothing helped so dr prescribed me prednison which helped and all clear . now my left ear jaw and teeth hurt. so i went to dentist and had another tooth extracted. but now my ear aches constantly and my jaw hurts too. so i have taken prednisone again. gor the past 2 days and it helps a bit but im still in pain. what should i do

Hello,my name is dr.Dorina Gurabardhi.I understand your concern.
The most common cause of ear pain is an ear infection.
Some advices that I can give to you are:
-take antibiotics such as augmentin 625 mg for 7 days 2 tablets a day
-take eardrops for a local effect.
-warm compresses
-use a pain killer such as ibuprofen
-continue with the prednisone.
