Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My baby is 17 months now. She is suffering from ear infection. Discharge is coming out from her right ear. Doctor gave her antibiotic to cure it. Also we have to give her chicken pox vaccine. Should we give the vaccine after ear infection is cured or we can give it now
it could be due to ASOM middle ear infection which can be cured with a course of antibiotics you can ask your ENT doctor for culture of the discharge so that exact antibiotics can be selected as per invading bacteria or pathogen
in my opinion you should give vaccine after ear infection is cured
Hope this answers you question Thanks for your question
have a nice day
