What Causes Ear Pain And Inner Ear Bleeding After Using Q-tip?

Was cleaning my ER with a q-tip, noticed when I stuck the q-tip in my inner ear it was super sensitive. When I dabbed the sensitive part gently and pulled out the q-tip, it had blood on it. I can still hear, but my hearing has never been that great. Now it is sensitive when I just talked with someone on the phone hearing with the hurt ear. Any idea what this is?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
A q-tip can lead to injury or trauma to delicate ear structures like ear drum.
In case it goes deeper, it can perforate the ear drum and enter the middle ear and the inner ear.
A decrease in hearing is suspicious for some kind of injury to the ear drum or some structures of ear.
I suggest you to consult an ENT specialist for clinical assessment and hearing test.
In case there is any injury to the ear, it has to be managed accordingly.

Thanks and take care
