Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
while sleeping in the midnight i feel pain in my ear. due to feel high pain i wake up and can t sleep properly. during pain i can t move my head it pain more.... this is happening from last 2 years with me. i tried all nasal spry as doctor think cos of nose close. i also tried some anti allergic medicines. asthma medicine as doctors advised but after one months or few months it happens again while sleeping. it starts from my throat infection and after some days pain start pain in my hear in the night and it slow down in 4 to 5 hours. when i touch my ear concha it hurts too much and other sides also but not much. please advice thanks
I suspect Meniere's diseas which inclides symptoms like ringing in ears, headaches, vertigo and pressure in ears that can cause pain. Although this is only a suspicion, then long history (2 years) does raise doubt for condition like Meniere's and even if my suspicion is wrong, it would be worth ruling it out. Please visit an ENT for a more elaborate evaluation.
Best wishes.
