Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
So, my period came 2 days early. It s started off light like it normally does. So light I didn t even have to change my pad for the whole day. But, strangely on my 2nd day (today) still hardly no blood on my pad. Only when I pee does it seem like I had a period. I m also having to go pee a lot. What could this mean??
Light & irregular periods is indicative of some hormonal or thyroid issues, anemia, stress, anxiety, change of shift duties, inadequate rest & disturbed diet habits.
Other medical conditions that can cause such manifestations is BC pills, use of IUD, PCOS, PMS, pregnancy, menopause, cervical cysts/polyps or fibroids / developing endometriosis.
You are suggested to take nutritious food, adequate sleep, stay away from stress & anxiety, cut on alcohol, smoking & addictions if any.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Nupur K, General & Family Physician
