What Causes Early Extensive Facial Hair Growth At The Age Of 13?
Dear doctor my son aged 13 years having extensive hair growth. His beard and mustache are growing. He is studying class 7th. His friends in the same age don t have this problem. So mentally he feels some complex. What is the solution? To whom we have to consult?. We are from India kerala. Pls reply.

please don't worry. ita just puberty setting up. the amount of facial and body hair at puberty is different for different kids. so please don't compare with other boys. in case you feel that your kid has excessively high amount of facial hairs and that he is having a beard equal to a 30 year old man then to alleviate your doubts just get a bllod testosterone and acth levels checked.
don't worry. it is surely normal.
