Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Early Morning Headache With Excessive Burping?
I have the problem of early morning headache and lots of burping accompanying it. The frequency is erratic but quite often it occurs at least twice a month. Typically, the headache very soon gets concentrated on the right side of the head, mainly above the right eye leading to the right temple down to the right neck ,back and shoulder. I can actually trace that line of pain. Both headache and burping reduce late afternoon. Drinking lots of water helps a bit
This headache seems to be related to spondyloarthrosis since you are having headache together with neck and back pain. The burping may be related to nausea or stomach issues not directly related to spondyloarthrosis. Do an X-ray of neck to check it. Take anti inflammatory drugs such Advil or Naproxen for pain.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
