Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Easy Bruising And Blisters On The Body After Taking Vyvanse?
I am 59 years old with major depressive disorder.Have been taking 70 mg vyvance for aprox 7 weeks. I have a burning, blisters kind of rash and have started bruising...I banged my hand today and the bruise is black and purple. I normally don t bruise easily. Do you think I am having a reaction to vyvance. Saw pharmacist today and he told me to take antihistamine.
From your description, I am of the opinion that these bruises may be due to reduced platelets or reduced coagulation factors.
The symptoms that you described are rare for vyvance(lisdexamfetamine) but still I would advise you to taper the doses. Check your blood paltelets level and serum coagulation factors.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
