What Causes Edema And Increased Blood Pressure In A Person With Liver Cirrhosis?
I have edema along with nash cirřosis of liver.,portal hypertension!. My body añd joints cause me alot of pain. I mcurřently takiing oxyccodone 10mg hci and still in pain! I take 2 tabs every 4 t o 6hrs and findind my tolerance building as time goes on. Suggestions?
Hi NASH and liver cirrhosis cause portal hypertension and edema. To avoid further complications, restrict salt intake. Take Tab. spironolactone 75mg once daily for edema. For bodyache and joints pain, I would advice you to stop tab. oxycodone as it is contraindicated in liver failure. You can take simple analgesics like Tab. dicloran 1 tablet thrice daily. apply dicloran gel over swollen and painful joints. Hopefully it helps. Thanks for contacting.
