General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.

Oedema you are experiencing could be due to lack of proper functioning of the heart. Should get a complete cardiac check up done (EKG, echocardiogram, doppler ultrasound of blood vessels in the extremities).

Lisinopril can also give a serious side effects like angioedema. Good your doctor switched to appressoline. But will need up to 2 weeks for the body to take completely off the effect of lisinopril (wash out).

Need to start diuretic to reduce blood pressure and edema. Discuss this with your doctor.

All the best.
