What Causes Edema And Tenderness On The Ankle And Calf?

Here are my symptoms edema of right calf including ankle, tenderness of upper right calf especially when I walk. The edema and tenderness has increased over the 3 days I have had this. It was a sudden onset. I take dyazide for high blood pressure and my BP has been controlled. I am a healthy 68 yo. What might I be suffering from and do I need to see an MD soon. We live on our boat and are underway.

You DO need to be seen and need to have a clot aka Deep Vein thrombosis ruled out with an ultrasound.
