What Causes Electric Shock Below The Belly Button?
I have an electric shock below my belly button at my right side ( approximately 3 X3 is the pain point far from the belly button), I had this for almost one hour this morning and I could not move my legs nor my body, I could barely sit on the bed, what do you expect would be the problem ?
As per my clinical experience, sharp electric shock type pain 3 cms below belly button on right side may be part of: - Acute appendicitis - Acute ureteric colic (through calculus in the right sided ureter) - Acute ligament or muscle stretch or sprain, spasm - Others
It is best recommended to consult at an ER and if required doctor may suggest you possible need of an ultrasound of the abdomen and pelvis.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
