What Causes Electric Shock Sensation In The Hand?

Hi, About a few weeks ago I thought I recieved an electrical shock from a laptop I was working on. It was very painfull, felt like a schock that went from my hand to my elbow. It was over within seconds, but left a wierd pain in my arm and elbow the rest of the day. No one else that works on that laptop has been schocked. Today and yesterday I have had an irritating pain in the palm of my right hand (kind of like the feeling you have when you hit your 'funny bone'. This morning I tried to pull on a small object that had no electricity connected to it and once again recieve a 'schock' in my hand and arm. I am quite puzzeled over this.Do you have an idea what could be causing this?
