What Causes Electric Shock Sensation In Thigh With History Of Vascular Surgery?

Have pain in thigh which quickly comes and goes. It almost feels like an electrical shock. It feels like a sizzling motion. It does not feel like a cramp or tightening of a muscle. I had vascular surgery done on that thigh when having a transplanted kidney removed. Can it be related to that?
