What Causes Electrical Sensation While Turning Head After Cervical Spinal Fusion?
I have C4 5 and 6 are fused. I have been having electrical like shocks when I turn my head to the left and I hear electrical static sounds. I am taking cymbalta 60mg which helps but I m still having debilatating headaches and uneasyness. Any suggestions as to why and what I cando?
Hello and welcome to HCM, Electrical shock like sensations suggests irritation or compression of the nerves. The C4-C5 fusion surgery is the probable cause of irritation and compression of the nerve roots. Thus, I suggest you to consult your operating surgeon for clinical assessment and review of the symptoms.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
