General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

AEC stands for increased eosinophils which is a type of blood cell that increases mostly in case of allergy or a parasite infection.
Most of the times there is no specific treatment needed, this depends on the symptoms that you may have.

If you have no complaint and this was just a random finding, there is nothing to worry. Probably I would repeat the test in a few months, to make sure it is not continuing to rise.

I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
