What Causes Elevated BP And Tingling Sensation On The Left Side Of The Mouth?

My husband had a stroke he began taking the media prescribed to him and its been3 days we check his pressure at least every15mins sometimes its 145/75 but out of 57 times most of the readings are really high it was just202/114 and he felt tingling on his left side of his mouth. What does all this mean he s going to the emergency room but are these symptoms normal after a stroke and it will subside was his body gets use to the meds or is he still on the verge of another stroke or more I m so worried please give me some answers thank you. General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

That blood pressure has to control because it is a sign of the possibility of stroke so you should consult the cardiologist and neuro physician as early as possible.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhadresh Lakhani
