What Causes Elevated CRP Levels While Suffering From Cough?
HI, My surgery of right HIp debridement was done on 18th August, 2015 and right hip was have to removed because of severe infection and loosening. I hve got done my ESR and CRP regularly after 1-2 months. On 24.9.2016 my CRP was 2.4 (normal range 0-6) and ESR was 42 but now on 11.10.2016 my CRP was increased and it was count as 7.9 (normal range 0-6) and ESR was 45. Can it be possible that CRP is suddenly high as during this time I have cough. Please reply.

Suggestive of some chronic inflammation, infection or malignancy.
Based on the history given you seem to have some chronic inflammation or infection like Tuberculosis involving your lungs. This could have resulted in increased levels of ESR and C reactive protein which are markers of inflammatory process.
So, I would advise you to consult your physician for further evaluation and certain lab tests such as Chest Xray, sputum for AFB to rule out chronic infection or inflammation.
