Hi there, Had question regarding Hepatitis B virus serology tests results. Wanted to confirm about Hepatitis B surface antigen result, as you can see course of the tests had been done started back from 2007 to 2017 this year, it has been confirmed that I am immunity to HBV indicated by hepatitis b surface antibodies. However, from 2007 to 2014 laboratory tests show that HBsAg was negative and this year 2017 had weak positive of 1.06 (cut off = 1.0) of HBsAg, therefore, confirmation test was done which showd 102% (anything above 50% considered to be positive) with negative HBV e antigen and HBV core antibody. From these results, I am aware that highly likely that I will not have HBV but why and what could be the possibility of HBsAg rising up after so many years? 17T0000 M 34 13Jun17 HBsAg EQUIVOCAL Anti HBs 14.3 mIU/mL - indicates immunity to HBV. Anti HCV : Negative No serological evidence of past or present Hepatitis C infection. HBV e antigen : Negative HBV Core antibody : Negative Low reactive HBsAg result of uncertain clinical significance. Please note results for anti-HBs performed on current and previous specimens collected from this patient indicate patient is immune to Hepatitis B. This comment was added by TH. HIV 1/2 Antibody/Antigen: Negative The HIV results were obtained using a 4th generation assay. This assay detects the presence of HIV p24 antigen and antibodies to HIV-1 and HIV-2. 14/0000 20Mar14 Sodium 141 mmol/L 135-145 Potassium 4.4 mmol/L 3.5-5.2 Creatinine 69 umol/L 60-105 eGFR 90 mL/min 60 .............LIVER FUNCTION TESTS................
